Gisele Bündchen was seen in Miami without her wedding ring. This has led to rumors that she and Tom Brady are going to break up. The 42-year-old supermodel took off her wedding ring on Tuesday, the same day Yahoo Entertainment reported that she had hired a divorce lawyer. There are also rumors that Brady has hired his own lawyer.
In the pictures that Page Six got, you can see Bündchen going to the gym with Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9. (She is also the stepmother of 15-year-old Jack.) Yahoo Entertainment won’t link to the photos because they show children, which goes against their editorial standards.
During her 13-year marriage, the Brazilian model has been photographed without the band many times, even when things weren’t as bad. On the other hand, Bündchen knows that paparazzi are following her right now, so she could be sending a message. It’s the second time this week that a picture has been taken of the former Victoria’s Secret model without her wedding ring.
Insiders say that Brady and Bündchen aren’t living together because Brady is trying to win his eighth Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This year, when Brady came out of retirement, things got worse. The model said she was “worried” about her husband’s decision to go back to the NFL in an interview, which doesn’t happen very often.
This is not the first time Brady and Bündchen have had a “rough patch” in their relationship. In 2020, the NFL player told Howard Stern that he and his wife had problems “a couple of years ago.”
On The Howard Stern Show, Brady said, “She didn’t think I was doing what I needed to do for the family.” She thought I would play football all season while she took care of the house, and when the season was over, I would say, “Great, let me get back to all my other business.” Let me go to football practice. And she’s sitting there thinking, “Well, when are you going to do things around the house? When are you going to get the kids to school and do that? “”
In a “heartfelt letter,” Bündchen told Brady that she was sad. The athlete said that he still keeps and reads the letter. To work out their problems, the couple went to marriage counseling.
A source told People that the relationship isn’t over just because each star has hired a lawyer.
“Gisele has been talking to a divorce lawyer for a while, but as far as I know, she hasn’t filed anything yet, and she’s still talking to Tom about their problems,” a source says, adding, “This isn’t something that happened today.”
Christopher Melcher, a famous divorce lawyer, told Yahoo that “consulting with lawyers doesn’t always mean” anything.
“They may only want to know what their rights are. Or, they might be thinking about making a change to their finances so they can move forward as a couple more easily, “Melcher, partner of Walzer Melcher & Yoda, adds.
