Miles Alexander Teller was born on February 20, 1987, in the United States. In Whiplash, he played jazz drummer Andrew Neiman, and in Top Gun: Maverick, he played pilot Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw.
Teller made his first full-length movie in 2010, and he became famous for his leading roles opposite Shailene Woodley in the coming-of-age drama The Spectacular Now (2013) and the Divergent film trilogy (2014–2016).
His big break came in 2014 with the drama Whiplash, for which he won an Oscar and got a lot of praise. Miles Teller got a big break after the movie Whiplash. He was in a number of movies, including romantic comedies; the superhero movie Fantastic Four (2015); and the biographical movies War Dogs (2015) and Bleed for This (2016).
