Amazon Prime Video is adding the highly anticipated fantasy-action show Island to its list of Korean dramas.

In December, the show will debut on Prime Video in 240 countries other than South Korea. At home, it will debut on CJ ENM's local streaming service TVING.

Island is a fantasy action show based on a popular webcomic by Yoon In-wan and Yang Kyung-il with the same name.

It takes place on the tropical Korean island of Jeju, where the main characters fight an evil force that wants to destroy the world.

Island was made by YLab Flex, Studio Dragon, and Gilstory Ent. It has a strong cast and crew, with A-list actors Kim Nam-gil, Lee Da-hee, Cha Eun-woo,

and Sung-joon playing the main roles. Bae Jong (Welcome to Dongmakgol, Fabricated City) is in charge of the show, and Oh Bo-hyin wrote the script.
